Oléron Thalassotherapy – A New Chapter Begins
The Oléron Thalassotherapy Center is preparing to write a new chapter in its story. Nestled between dunes and pine forests, facing the Atlantic Ocean, it is being reborn to offer a completely reimagined wellness experience.
At the heart of the project, the large pool overlooking the Bay of Gatseau will be entirely redesigned: a new aquatic space brought to life by a multitude of hydro-massage jets, revitalizing marine circuits, and unique sensory atmospheres — for total immersion in the energy of the sea.
The marine treatments and spa area will offer rituals inspired by both the ocean and the forest, while a program of rejuvenating and sports activities will complete this holistic experience.

A true culinary artist, the renowned Michelin-starred Chef Pierre Gagnaire has crafted a menu inspired by local terroir and seasonality, reflecting his passion for the destinations he brings to life.
“Cuisine des Dunes” evokes a cuisine deeply rooted in its natural surroundings — between sandy soils, sea winds, and coastal produce. Like the oyat, the emblematic dune grass of Oléron Island, it draws inspiration from the raw beauty of the landscape and the richness of local resources.
